Passado Simples e Contínuo

O passado contínuo nada mais é do que uma ação que foi contínua por um determinado tempo no passado, mas finalizou nesse mesmo passado, não chegando a ocorrer no presente da fala proferida, normalmente utilizamos o verbo to be no passado, ou seja, was e were, e logo em seguida o verbo acrescido de ing.

O passado simples nada mais é do que um tempo verbal dentro da língua inglesa que fala sobre uma ação que começou no passado e finalizou nesse mesmo passado, não precisando necessariamente ter relação com o presente da fala proferida.

Dentro desse tempo verbal, temos verbos irregulares e regulares, os regulares são normalmente acrescidos de "ED" ao final do verbo, já os irregulares não seguem um padrão, sendo assim, é necessário conhecer cada um desses verbos previamente para preencher as lacunas do texto corretamente.
