Henrique of Haiti, born Henrique Cristovão was a self-proclaimed king of Haiti. A career soldier, he held the rank of general in the Haitian army when he became president on February 17, 1807. He proclaimed himself king on March 26, 1811. He committed suicide on October 8, 1820. Wikipedia
