As frases abaixo estão na forma afirmativa do Present Continuous. Passe-as para a forma negativa.


 Example: Mary is coming to the pub.

                  Mary is not coming to the pub.

They are teaching english at my school.

She is cleaning the room.

I am learning Portuguese this year.

You are working with the new boss.

Bernard is playing tennis in the afternoon.

 The cat is eating your breakfast!

 My sister is living in my apartment at the moment. ( Expressão: at the moment = no momento.)


 The baby is playing with the toys every day.

 I am working now, sorry. ( sorry = desculpa.)

 He is working in Bahia at the moment.

A única coisa que você tem que fazer para deixar a frase negativa é achar o verbo to be na frase, ou seja, am, is ou are e colocar o not atrás. Vou pegar a primeira frase ali como exemplo:

They are teaching English at my school.
Forma Negativa: They are NOT teaching English at my school.

Caso você queira fazer a forma contraída, ou seja, juntar o verbo e o not seria dessa forma:

They aren't teaching English at my school.
