Ethan Wate (Alden Ehrenreich) is a high school student who lives in Gatlin, a small village in South Carolina. One day, a young teen arrives at: Duchannes Lena (Alice Englert), which also has adjustment problems. Soon, the people of Gatlin discover that she has supernatural powers.
