1) Most likely the influence of the colonization ( a influência da colonização) ( explicacao: o Brasil foi colonizado pelos portugueses, que falar português e, portanto, nos falamos portugues)

2) The portuguese is the oficial language of brazil due to the colonization, although, the amout of people that imigrates to Brazil is huge, thats why there’s a buch of other languages in our contry!
