1) Visit the “Pinacoteca de São Paulo” website and choose one (01) piece of art: painting, drawing, photo...
2) Access the link below:

3) Describe the piece of art in details: characters, objects, colours, shapes, light and shadow, scene, place...
4) Use the following expressions in your description: This picture shows... / At the bottom... / At the top... / On the right... / On the left... / In the middle... / Near... / Next to... / Behind...
5) Answer the following questions considering the piece of art:
i) Who is its author?
ii) When was it created?
iii) How does it make you feel?
iv) What is the message it conveys to you?
6) Reflect upon the following questions and register your opinion:
i) Why is art important in our lives?
ii) What form of arts are present in your community?
iii) How could art be closer to your community?
iv) How can the language teacher use art for more creative and meaningful educational practices?
7) Write your final text in English (100-300 words). It must present: the piece of art´s description (items 3 and 4) and the answers for the questions (items 5 and 6).
The evaluation criteria are:
i) punctuality;
ii) text length (100-300 words);
iii) use of English language;
iv) the piece of art´s description;
v) consistent answers for questions (items 5 and 6).
