fragment. An example is a question tag is underlined in the following sentence. We are going to the circus,
aren't we? When the sentence is affirmative, the question tag is negative. I like ice cream, don't I? When
the sentence is negative, the question tag is affirmative. I can't eat this last slice of pizza, can I?
