Dear Auntie Laura,
I am having a great time in Spain. We are staying in a
fantastic hotel about 1 km from Alicante. The rooms are big
and there's an awesome swimming pool. Right now, I am
sitting on a sofa in my room, but Joe is surfing - he's really
good at water sports! Mom usually sunbathes every day,
but she is not sunbathing now because it's very hot. Dad is
with me and he is eating tortilla - he likes to try new food!
am reading a lot of books on this vacation. I have three
books about the history of Spain! I am learning a lot about
it, but we are not visiting any museums because it's too hot.

Estou me divertindo muito na Espanha. Estamos ficando em um
hotel fantástico a cerca de 1 km de Alicante. Os quartos são grandes
e há uma piscina incrível. Agora eu estou
sentado em um sofá no meu quarto, mas Joe está surfando - ele é realmente
bom em esportes aquáticos! Mamãe geralmente toma sol todos os dias,
mas ela não está tomando banho de sol agora porque está muito quente. Papai é
