Was ( I,she,he,it) e were (You,we,they,you (plural) são usados para indicar determinada frase no passado dos pronomes no verbo To Be.

Exemplos:(was)
 
→I was very happy.
→He was inteligent and cool
→She was very worry about me.
→It was rainly and cold yesterday.


Exemplos:(were)

→You were a good teacher.
→We were very cheerful. 
→They were very hard-working and creative.
→You were a little sad yesterday.

Were = passado. você utiliza no plural. ( they, we)
