Was ( I,she,he,it) e were (You,we,they,you (plural) são usados para indicar determinada frase no passado dos pronomes no verbo To Be.

Exemplos:(was)
 
I was very happy.
He was inteligent and cool
She was very worry about me.
It was rainly and cold yesterday.


Exemplos:(were)

You were a good teacher.
We were very cheerful. 
They were very hard-working and creative.
You were a little sad yesterday.

Was = passado. Você usa ele no singular. ( he, she, it)
Were = passado. você utiliza no plural. ( they, we)
