Resposta:
a. According to the text, English is used in most scientific research publications nowadays. Can you think of a reason for that?
because English is the most spoken language in the world thus is easier to someone understand the message if it is written in English
b. In your opinion, what is the benefit of having a common language of science?
the benefits is having the same basis to all scientific papers, so a scientist anywhere in the world can understand what was published if he has the minimum required to grasp that knowledge! thus it is easier to have to focus only in one language in order for the scientific community to grow!
c. Do you think that having a common language of science may also be a problem? Why?
it can be a problem for those scientists who don't have the minimum required to convey their message in English, so they have to study more other topics such as the English language, thus letting their main focus on science on a hold for a moment, also there are some language barriers something that is intrinsic to some languages that can not be translated as well as it would be it the paper was published in their native language so on and so forth
