Passado simples e Presente Perfeito

O passado simples nada mais é do que um tempo verbal dentro da língua inglesa que trata basicamente de uma ação que começou no passado e finalizou nesse mesmo passado. Já o presente perfeito trata de duas situações na linha do tempo, a primeira é uma experiência no passado com foco na ação e uma ação que começou no passado e continua ocorrendo no presente.

Sendo assim, o auxiliar do tempo verbal passado simples é o did e o auxiliar do tempo verbal presente perfeito é o have ou has, lembrando que o verbo principal continua na forma do particípio nesse tempo verbal.
