Use the indefinite article ("a", "an") to talk about things in general terms.

She has a white dog. (Foi aplicado "a" pois o som da próxima letra é de consoante )

He wants  a piece of that cake. (Mesma explicação da anterior)

I love to eat an apple every morning. ( tente falar an apple, soa melhor do que a apple. )

She has an interesting idea. (Mesma explicação que a a anterior.)

My dad got  a new job
