a. In my opinion, a job can be just a temporary function which may not make you feel happy or fullfilled. A career is something you build over time with a lot of hard work, and it's part of who you are somehow.

b. I prefer the quote that says that parents are always hoping for the best for their children. It doesn't really matter if their are going to follow their parents' dreams for them or only be happy with their own ways.
