3. Write in the interrogative and negative form. Use did and did not.

Example:
Afirmativa: You visited your friends.
Interrogativa: Did you visit your friends?
Negativa: You did not visit your friends.
Obs: Não é necessário que você destaque parte das sentenças como no exemplo. As partes que
estão em vermelho tem o objetivo de ajudá-lo a visualizar melhor as mudanças que ocorrem
quando uma sentença afirmativa no passado é transformada em interrogativa e negativa.
Note que o verbo principal que termina com –ed , nesse caso, o verbo visited na forma
afirmativa, volta para a forma normal, básica (visit) tanto na interrogativa quanto na
negativa.
