No Simple Past, a ação já ocorreu e não ocorre mais
O Simple Past é o tempo verbal, em inglês, que indica que a ação começou e terminou no passado, em um tempo definido. Ou seja, a frase indica quando a ação ocorreu (ontem = yesterday; no mês passado = last month; há 15 minutos = 15 minutes ago etc.).
