Mexican Frida Kahlo is now one of the most popular artists in the world. Her paintings reach record values, and his face is recognized
all over the planet. His short life, however, was fascinating and eventful.

work of Frida Kahlo, including excerpts from her diaries, letters and statements. The book reveals the pains and delights of its
existence, but also how it used art to overcome the limitations that conditions imposed on it and to reinvent itself. The result is a poetic,
polished work that gives voice to one of the most interesting figures of the 20th century.
