a- 15 x -60=0
       15x=60
          x= $\frac{60}{15}$
          x=4 

b- 8x -80= 16
    8x=16+80
    8x=96
      x= $\frac{96}{8}$
    x= 12

c- 5y +60=0
    5y= -60
       y=$\frac{-60}{5}$
       y= -12

d- 3y-45=15
    3y=15+45
     3y=60
       y= $\frac{60}{3}$
       y=20

e-2y+28= -12
   2y=-12 +28
   2y= 16
     y= $\frac{16}{2}$
     y= 8

f-7x -35 =  -7
  7x= -7 +35
    7x= 28
     x= $\frac{28}{7}$
     x=4

g- 6x +72=6
    6x= 6 -72
    6x= -66
       x=$\frac{-66}{6}$
        x= -11

h-4y +24 = -4
   4y= -4 -24
   4y= -28
    y= $\frac{-28}{4}$
   y=-7

i- x - 80= -50
   x= -50 +80
   x= 30

j- y +25= 35
  y= 35-25
  y= 10

x = 60/15

b)
8x - 80 = 16
8x = 16+80
8x = 96
x = 96/8
x = 12

c)
5y + 60 = 0
5y = -60
y = -60/5
y = -12
