THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

English has an outstanding importance among the languages of the world. It is not the languages used by the greatest number of native speakers – Chinese is the first in the world. English has more 1,3 billion of natives speaker in several countries. It is also the second language of many people in a lot of other countries.

English languages presents a very great structural simplicity. This is not peculiar to English; other languages also have the same simplicity. But languages follow the destiny of the people that speak them. At present the U.S.A., Canada and Australia are among the most important countries in the world. All these nations play a significant role in human activities.

That is why English is the language of commerce and technology. It is also the most important means of communication in the world today. So everybody has to know at least a bit of English.
