era uma vez uma  princesa loira com cabelos muito longos, ela amava brincar no quintal de seu castelo, ela costumava brincar com um filho de um empregado do castelo, mas seu pai, o rei nao gostava nada disso, e acabou proibindo a garotinha de sair do castelo.

a menina ficou muito triste, chorou muito e o rei, bravo gritou a ela

-nao chore como um bebe!

mas depois de um tempo ela  jogava o cabelo onde o menino subia e eles brincavam por horas no quarto da princesa. ate que um dia o pai da princesa descobriu, ao entrar no quarto da menina enquanto eles brincaram.

a pobre empregada foi demitida e a princesa e o filho da empregada nunca mais se viram.

a princesa ficou muito triste, e fuigiu do castelo, mas enquanto ela estava atravessando um rio o cabelo dela se prendeu em uma arvore e ela se afofou.

o rei ficou muito triste, e se sentiria culpado para o resto de sua vida.

entao ele percebeu que seria mais facil ter deixado a princesinha brincar com o filho da empregada do que ela  ter fugido do castelo e acidentalmente morrido.

mas ali estava ele, segurando a princesinha em seus grandes bracos, chorando como um bebe.

but it was too late, and there was the king holding the little princess in his big arms, crying like a baby.
