Hi Juan,
"l______to" is not common in everyday speech, and
the only example I can think of where you would use it
is in formal situations or literature. For example:
"_____ to call her early the next day."
In this case, "l_____to" shows that the person had
an obligation to call. It's similar to saying "I was
supposed to call her the next day."l______going to call her" shows a past intention or
plan, and has a slightly different meaning.
