Verbo Auxiliar - DO / DOES
Em inglês quando necessita-se passar alguma frase no presente para sua forma negativa ou interrogativa utilizam-se os verbos auxiliares: DO ou DOES. Sendo:
- DO - utilizado para I, you, we, they;
- DOES - utilizado para he, she, it.
NEGATIVE FORM
Para transformar uma frase afirmativa para a negativa, deve-se adicionar a palavra "not" após o verbo auxiliar, podendo fazer uso de sua forma flexionada, sendo:
SUJEITO + DO/DOES + NOT + COMPLEMENTO
Exemplos:
You like soda
You do not like soda
You don't like soda.
You look like your mom
You do not look like your mom
You don't look like your mom.
She has a sister
She does not have a sister
She doesn't have a sister
(Atenção! Neste caso após o verbo auxiliar DOES o verbo principal volta a sua forma normal, portanto o has volta a ser have)
INTERROGATIVE FORM
Para transformar uma frase afirmativa em uma frase interrogativa, move-se o verbo auxiliar para o inicio da frase, assim sendo:
DO/DOES + SUJEITO + VERBO + COMPLEMENTO ?
Exemplos:
You like soda
Do you like soda?
You look like your mom
Do you look like your mom?
She has a sister
Does she have a sister?
(Atenção! Assim como na forma negativa, após o verbo auxiliar DOES o verbo principal volta a sua forma normal, portanto o has volta a ser have)
