Verbo Modal

Os verbos modais nada mais são do que palavras que irão complementar o verbo principal de cada uma das sentenças em inglês de acordo com qual o significado queremos complementar nele, seja possibilidade, obrigatoriedade, e entre outros.

Nesse caso, vemos o uso de can e can't, que nada mais são do que palavras que indicam o verbo poder, ou seja, se eu uso essa palavra, quer dizer que eu posso realizar tal ação, no sentido de possibilidade. Lembrando que o uso de can é comum e ele é um auxiliar, ou seja, irá construir sentenças interrogativas e negativas através do uso dele mesmo.
