Forma Negativa

Na forma negativa do persente continuo, acrescenta-se o NOT depois do verbo

BE e antes

do verbo com

SUJEITO + VERBO TO BE +NOT+ VERBO COM ING + COMPLEMENTO

E.G. They are watching a very good film

Negative: They are not watching a very good film.

Forma Interrogativa

Na forma interrogativa, o verbo auxiliar BE aparece no inicio da frase.

VERBO TO BE + SUJEITO + VERBO COM -ING + COMPLEMENTO

E.G. They are watching a very good film

Interrogative: Are they watching a very good film?

Exemplos

Forma afirmativa (affirmative form): They are studying for the test. (Eles estão estudando para o teste.) Forma negativa (negative form): They are not studying for the test. (Eles não estão estudando para o teste.) Forma interrogativa (Interrogative form): Are they studying for the test? (Eles estão estudando para o teste?)
