My name is João. I am 11 years old. I am a young boy who lives with my mother, my grandmother, my three sisters and my dog. I was born in Minas Gerais, but now I live in São Paulo. I study at EMEF Paulo Souza and I am in the 6th grade. My favorite subjects are Portuguese, English and History. I have many friends at school: Mariana, Lucas and Lomaine. We love playing chess, in fact we are part of The Chess Group in our school. We are also in The Imprensa Jovem Group. Now that I am in quarantine, I miss the school and my friends. I help my mom at home with the housework. I usually wash the dishes, take out the garbage, make my bed, and vacuum the house. My mother cooks delicious food, like lasagna, pasta, baked and roast chicken. I love her food! But I hate vegetables. Mom makes me eat vegetables like cauliflower, spinach, broccoli, and carrots every day. I have a dog and its name is Fredenco I walk my dog twice a day, but I wear a face mask. I like to watch MMA Fights on television Mom doesn't like me to watch the fights because they are on past my bedtime. I have to sleep at 10:00 PM every day. Mom makes me and my sisters wake up early, at 8:00 am every day We often have breakfast. We eat some fruit like apples, bananas, pineapples, some bread, and coffee. After that, we have to study. I do Google Classroom activities while my sisters do Trilhas da Aprendizagens exercises. My mom has only one cellphone, so we have to take turns using it. After the lessons are done, we have to help her with the housework. In the afternoon, I have some free time. I like listening to country music. My favorite singer is Marília Mendonça, I love her songs. She is funny and sentimental. I also watch some films on Netflix. My favorite genres are comedy, science-fiction, animation and thriller. I hate horror movies. So, this is my routine! What's yours?​
